「東西自有生命，只要喚醒它們的靈魂」。馬奎斯《百年孤寂》中，用磁鐵讓金屬物品隨之起舞的吉普賽人如是說。這裡的靈魂，應該是指物的特性。
大自然中的一草一木、一山一石，無一沒有它們的故事：它們身上有著歲月的軌跡，也紀錄著環境狀態的改變，只要我們懂得「讀」它，它能告訴我們許多事情。

仔細觀賞、用心體會大自然中的一切，特別讓我有這種感觸，總是讓我對於造物者的力量感到驚嘆與敬畏。

失去某些知覺能力的人，在其他部分的知覺總是特別敏銳；而對於「視、聽、觸、嗅、味」各感官知覺能力良好的人來說，有時反而變成「無感」。有形的物，即便多巨大、多醒目，若我們不注意，常常能視而不見；無形的事或情感，若沒有用心體會，就無法知道它們有多珍貴、多美麗。
唯心而已。
